^^ Your diagram and parts list is for a boom sprayer.
My Boomless Sprayer does not show any screens at the tips. Just the one at the tank shut-off valve near the intake. I do clean that screen.

Same for the boomless. Number 21 is the 50 mesh screen

Nope. I have a significantly different Boomlets set-up than that shown. I wish I knew how to post the parts diagram. I have large plastic nozzles and they don't have screens.
Check the LG3025 manual for the parts diagram. I think a number of us have that sprayer.....and no screens at the nozzles.

Yours would be a first. That would be a disaster.

FOR MY PURPOSES.....if I were buying again.... .I believe I would buy the same BOOMLESS sprayer configuration. I know they can be a PITA.....but the ability to use them on narrow trails and irregular shaped plots and the ability to get around on wooded property is superior to a boom type sprayer. Yep....its harder to control the spray pattern.....and you gotta watch drift.....less you kill your best apple trees (don't ask me how I know).

Picked up a free sprayer today. Got it home and hooked it up and it works. Should work for me till I get one. It maybe even will work well enough that I won't have to buy one. The boom is mounted kind of crude but it didn't cost me anything.

Foggy Out of curiosity, when you say the boomless is better on trails, etc. How are you using the boomless to spray? Doesnt it have a very wide coverage pattern? I have this one, and the 2 nozzles sit right behind the back tires on the ATV so it works awesome on trails or irregular shapes. Very controllable where the spray pattern goes and not much worry about drift because it does sit pretty low to the ground. www.nationwidewholesaledirect.com/fimco_atv_sprayers/ATV-20-2.html

You can turn on or off each nozzle indiviudually and control the direction of the two nozzles on either outside end. Thus...you can make both wide and narrow patterns by simple nozzle adjustments and control the spray from about 3 feet wide to about 30 feet wide.....and still maintain a reasonable control of the spray and drift. Those outside nozzles are quite effective in making a fine spray pattern and yet controlling the fan of the spray path. I think this model is almost ideal for wooded property like mine with a variety of spray needs. Yes....a boom type may be better for farm fields and it is somewhat better at control. I would have allot of problems getting around with a wide boom on a sprayer. This is a good alternative.

So I was given a sprayer, it started life as a cheap harbor freight spot sprayer $99.00. The guy I got it from made a 4 nozzle boom. It works but the pump is only 1 gpm and I think it's to small for the way it is now set up. I can pick up a new fimco 2.1 gpm pump at fleet for $55. I think I'll do that next spring and then I'll have something. The pump is on the front of the wheeler for pics only.

^ I think you should spend another $20 and get the 3.8 gpm pump. It'll handle all the volume you need. Also, they do have rebuilt's out there if you do a google search. About the only thing that goes wrong with the pumps is the diaphragm - and they likely replace all that stuff.

Going by memory.....but that is what I thought the price difference was. When my 3.8 went "bad" they didn't have a diaphragm in stock.....and I needed to spray. So I ended up buying a replacement 3.8 pump......and it could have been a rebuilt. I now have a "spare" pump.....but I suppose I should buy the diaphragm to make it serviceable again. I have done a better job of winterizing my sprayer after two seasons of disregard.....and subsequent expense.
