when my fimco goes down, thinking of making my own This guy says $100 bucks.....but I betcha you'd be hard pressed to buy all that stuff for under $250. I paid $69 for a pump, $49 for the black rain boomless that comes with a bracket you attach to the UTV tailgate (could go cheaper but I am no handyman), 12 feet of 3/8 hose and I used an 80 gallon garbage can I had filled with 60 gallons of water. Whole thing fits in a 5 gallon bucket when I am not using it.

I'm impressed. ^ Your almost sub-human frugal. Oh I forgot.....a Batman! Only question I have is: How do you put a 60 gallon trash can into a 5 gallon bucket?

You can turn the boom brackets up instead of down if you want to maybe work in a UTV? That is what I did to get over the top of the corn in this picture.

SD already posted his pictures and told people it does not work well. My plan works so well John Deer offered me $700,000 for partial rights. And my idea is wrapped in MYSTERY. Mail cash

Pump size can be a big factor. Get the biggest one. I think the big one is 2.8 gpm (?).

I was at my place for the day Sunday to mostly spray thistle. I got it done but not without working through issues with the fimco sprayer . One moment it has pressre, the next it doesn't. Hard to figure out what is going on but it sure delays things. I still would like to find a better sprayer. These diaphragm pumps are temperamental.

Check that in-line filter coming out of the bottom of the tank and going into the pump. I have to clean mine out about 3rd tank full or so.
