I have been thinking of adding a second box blind on my land. I have been weighing options of building one or buying one. If I built one it would have to be modular as I would build at home and haul it up to land and then assemble it on a 4 or 5 foot high platform. Well when I was researching I came across this place in Central Lower Michigan, Marlette, MI that makes fiberglass modular deer blinds. A 6x6 foot blind would cost $830.00. When I contacted them they don't have a shipper at present time so it is pickup only. They look like they are well built and fiberglass should last a long time. If a guy could get a few guys to buy a blind and pick them up at same time, it would be a cost saver. He also said that 1 6x6 blind would fit in back of pickup. What do you guys think?

Interesting hardware on the leg braces.
I'd like to see one in person before giving it a rating. Price seems high but I don't know how they compare quality wise.

Tom,
Will you be hunting bow or X bow out of this blind as well?

The price does not seem high considering the market out there for Maverick and Banks Blinds.
For example, browse this site and see how much these are for a guy working out of his garage.

I looked at those Brad. They are molded plastic vs fiberglass. I would think fiberglass is quieter Also I think the one I posted is a little bigger.

Dealer price on a 6x6 Redneck is well over $1500. Is the floor quiet? That is a big issue with many of the named blinds.

They have a solid floor built with treated 2x4s and under floor. Then fiberglass on top of 2x4's then the OSB then the OSB is covered with fiber materials and topped with a water resistant carpet.

I'd take a look at the box blinds MO's helpers make. They seem well built and well designed.
