Whatever you go with, if it gets full sun...make sure you don't have bare soil.

Brad Have you made any decisions yet what your going with? No final decision until I get a soil test and see what I’m really dealing with. Stay tuned

7.1% organic matter? That sounds extremely high, but if it is accurate you should be able to grow some awesome crops.

Friggen guy is sitting on a layer of potting soil. I'd be honored to take a dump there, but I'd be afraid the nightcrawlers would try pulling me under.

Not telling you what to do, but I would wait on the planting if you are putting alfalfa in. If you get lucky and get the alfalfa to germ and grow. It kills easy at the 2 leaf stage with a frost.

Zero percent chance of that making it frost seeding. Here is my 10 day. Looks pretty warm. Probably would plant on Saturday. What do you think ? Bad or ok ?

Mo. Is alfalfa like beans where it’s easy to kill with just the slightest of frosts or does it take a hard frost ? Just wondering

Mo. Is alfalfa like beans where it’s easy to kill with just the slightest of frosts or does it take a hard frost ? Just wondering Why take the chance planting that early. Ground is so cold it will just lay there anyways. Stress on a plant if it does germinate is bad enough in cold ground. Why subject it to a possible frost as well. JMO.
