Is this going to be the new normal for everything we buy? It’s a sad state we are in. New norm?......yep, I think so. They are shipping vehicles from the factories with several memory chips missing. Just trying to move stuff. The supply chain has a few missing links. Hard to know who to trust anymore. Let's go Brandon! In our community Pulte is having so much difficulty getting appliances they are using the model home appliances to get past inspections so the buyers can get into the houses. After the new owner closes the appliances are removed and installed into another home that is ready to close. I have no idea how long homeowners have to wait to get their final appliances but what a mess.

We were supposed to get a make-over on our clubhouse / bar / grille / patio etc. Multi Million dollar expansion....and we need it. Been put off twice now due to material shortages and they claim it will get cheaper later? Somehow....I dont think so. Home sales are still red hot.

I see no end in sight for these shortages/issues. I'd guess it will be towards the end of '23 or sometime in '24. Just in time for the recession

At least I think I am functioning. I must be the new norm!

That sucks! Was it RTP or the dealer than committed to 2021 pricing?

That sucks! Was it RTP or the dealer than committed to 2021 pricing? The dealer told me that RTP was going to honor the "old" prices. I dont blame my dealer....he was just passing along what he was told. I've been a bit on the fence too.....on wether I should be spending that much on a drill. The product is good......it's just allot of money for what it does. I think some lower priced alternatives are on the horizon......or not. . The only issue I have with my current drill (Tar River Saya 505) is that I am concerned that it will wrap in a heavy stand of cereal Rye. I have no way to know that.....excpet for some prior experience with Rye. It does like to wrap. I may have to cut it with my flail mower....but I would like to avoid that. I will muddle through.

Just don't plant rye. Drill your beans into pigweed and sedge. Easy peasy!

I watched this video a few times now. Not sure who Randy Vandeen is? Seems like he has solid info here tho......for both small and large machinery. While I am planting different seed blends.....I will likely follow this method and his timing to my food plots this year.

Well.....I listened to my own logic......and bought a new (to me) slightly used Great Plains 3P 500 grain drill with small seed box. Wont be picking it up for a week or so......but made the deal over the phone today. Guess I will be sailing my Tar River Saya 505 Drill this spring. Glad I could find a used drill. Saves some $$ and its got real low use.
